Craft documentation - Thangka painting of Himachal Pradesh

This project involves conducting thorough research on Thangka painting in Himachal Pradesh, immersed within the local environment. Utilizing system thinking and tools like radar graphs, we analyze the surroundings to identify gaps that urgently require attention to support artisans financially, emotionally, and physically. Collaborating with a diverse group of individuals, we aim to elaborate not only on the solutions proposed but also on the process and implementation strategy to create a lasting impact on the Thangka community.

The project is the result of two immersive visits to the community's locality, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities present within the Thangka painting tradition.
